apDia provides in each complete kit ready-to-use human platelets for detection and identification of platelet allo- or autoantibodies in a MAIPA procedure. The human platelets are manufactured according to a proprietary production process.
This module consists of a pool of typed platelets derived from 6 to 12 blood group O donors covering all the main platelet antigens. This pool allows for the screening of patient samples for the presence of anti-platelet antibodies directed against platelet glycoproteins GpIIbIIIa, GpIaIIa, GpIbIX and anti-HLA Class I antibodies.
This module consists of a panel of 6 different platelets derived from 6 single blood group O donors, each individually typed for HPA-1, -2, -3, -4, – 6, -15 antigens. This panel of well-characterized cells offers the ability to identify the in screening detected anti-glycoprotein antibodies up to implicated HPA antigen.
